Authorities are investigating an attack on a well-known local gang after an incident that unfolded yesterday morning in broad daylight.

Witnesses report that one gang member sustained serious injuries after being struck by two assailants armed with a trumpet and a flute. Another suspected member was hit repeatedly with a "fiddle",while a third man is being treated for minor injuries after allegedly being smacked several times with a trombone.

Garda Sergeant A. Kitterick, speaking outside Loftys, said investigators strongly believe this was an “orchestrated attack.”
